FOUNDER He began his 25 year career in the tobacco industry as a Factory Trainee with Souza Cruz. Six years later he was offered a job with Standard Commercial Tobacco Company in Malawi as a Factory Operation Manager. Four years after he was moved to Transcontinental Leaf office in Santa Cruz, Brazil, as a Sales Manager for a year and a half. Factory Manager and Sales in Argentina was the next step with Standard Commercial for four years. In 2001 he comes back to Santa Cruz do Sul, Brazil, as Sales Manager for Meridional de Tabacos. Following the merger between Standard and Dimon he helped to establish AOI Sales Department working in both Sales and Sourcing tobacco in South America. The last two and a half years he was working at Premium Tabacos do Brasil as Operations Superintendent. Working in three different countries on Factory, Blending, Quality Control and Sales he gained a wealth of experience which can now pass on to Virginia do Brasil Tabacos customers. |
